I just bought a Geforce 8600 GT card and big surprise - I ran into this
bug ;-) (on Gutsy)
On my system I had only a blank screen during the boot process, after
GDM startet, everythings seemed to work as usual. The following

(on Gutsy). TTYs and suspend to disk are working as usual (the TTYs have a
higher resolution now of course).

This also happens on my system with intrepid alpha3 candidate image
20080724.1 (amd64) and Windows Vista (32-Bit) as the import source. The
result of the imported files looks quite confusing, since there are
several duplicate folders in the new home directory (e.g. ~/Dokumente
(which is empty) and
This also happens on my system (AMD64), I was trying to install the build-deps
for Rhythmbox and this was not possible because python2.5-dev couldn't be
installed. The reason was obviously that the version number of the installed
python2.5 and python2.5-minimal packages was 2.5.2-2ubuntu5 but

The version of mail-notification currently in Hardy (and Intrepid) is rather
old (4.1), while there is already 5.4 avaiable:

It seems that also no newer version was imported to Debian so far.

The following happend with intrepid daily-live 20080813.3 (amd64):
- I booted my system from the cd, choosing german as language in the boot-up
menu.
- After the system was up, I started firefox
- While typing my email adress to login to launchpad, I noticed that it was not
