unable to paste passwords into seahorse passphrase windows
Not beeing able to paste is a security problem, because:
If you use a password manager and use generated passwords that are
impossible to remember you will have to show the password on screen to
be able to enter it correctly in the seahorse password dialog.

unable to paste passwords into
There is no specific entry in .xsession-errors. Perhaps the video-

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: update-notifier
When you click on the update notification icon and choose Install all updates
a download progress window apperars.
It would be nice if this window could be minimized.
It would be even better if the window did not appear at all. It does
The problem is that the language packs are not on the server, and the
background download task gets a 404 error and does not catch it.
Ubuntu's Gtk based installer displays an error message and offers to
continue the installation without the langpacks. Kubuntu's installer
just sits there,
I have exactly the same problem using Feisty and a Thinkpad 60p. Here is
the relevant output from syslog, atigetsysteminfo output and lspci -
output.

Since last update 2.6.22-11.33 my HP nc8430 does not boot.
It hang on this:

PCI: Using Configuration Type 1
ACPI: EC: GPE=0x16, ports = 0x66 , 0x66
Workaround is to add kernelparameters acpi=off and irqpoll,
Public bug reported:
In my Notebook nc8430 with 4GB Ram, only 3 GB are detected. Seems to be
a problem with the kernel however. Other distros don't detect correctly
either. Windows does fine.

I did a little research in google. Maybe it is related to the embedded
Controller of the laptop not responding and enabling async scanning in
.config of the 2.6.22 kernel
