Binary package hint: jockey-gtk
When you load hardware drivers or Additional Drivers (in 10.10), while
it is loading there's an unhelpful named untitled window in the window
list. This would be easily fixed by changing the title of the window for
something more informative

Strange, I still have this problem with Amarok 2.3.1 and libtag1c2a
1.6.3
I still see almost all the track lengths as 0:00 in the playlist view, and some
other, on another hand, are strangely long (like more than 2 hours instead a
couple of minutes)
But when I play the song, the progress bar
Same issue after upgrading from an Athlon64
Ubuntu 10.10 64bit
AMD Phenom II X3 715
Biostar MCP6P AM2+ (Nvidia 6150/430)

Nothing other than loss of functionality and the unreliable message at
startup.

Tried package this myself using the Ubuntu Packaging Guide, although I'd
like to see someone more experienced do it properly and (hopefully)
added into a future release of Ubuntu.

Title:
Confirmed on HP ProBook 4510s.
On older versions of ubuntu this could be solved by plugging out the power
coord and then plugging it back in some seconds later when the fan spinned
down. After upgrading to 13.04, this metod no longer works.
sudo su
echo -n 1
Uptade on this:
ls /sys/devices/virtual/thermal/cooling_device*/cur_state | while read A; do
echo 1 $A; echo 0 $A; done
does kill the fan, but it starts again when the processor gets to 50*C.
Before it was more like it was on a little bit all the time and spun up
when needed, now it is quiet

Walkaround: apt-get install python-samba
Solution: Add python-samba as dep. to evolution-mapi

That is a shame, when there is a working fix for atleast some (multiple)
hardware. I think we (or I...) am just lacking competence of
incorporating it into the codebase... Well, I could copy-paste the code
mentioned above in a .diff/.patch - but that wouldn't be a nice
integration, would it?
