registers dump should be harmless. The tg3 driver dumps these logs

The new behaviour introduced by the referred commit on the kernel seems
to be correct. The problem is that pulseaudio does not distiguish
between an HDMI monitor being unplugged and entering stand-by or, to be
more precise, it handles both events the same way.

We have analysed bug #956479 and the behaviour introduced by the
referred patch seems to be correct. Thus, diverging from upstream
stable does not seem a reasonable option at this point.

Apparentely, this is very similar to bug #903010, which is now solved by
reverting commit eb1711bb94991e93669c5a1b5f84f11be2d51ea1.
Unfortunately, the oopstext seems to be incomplete and misses useful
information. Can you reproduce this issue? If so, could you please

Great, thanks for the update. About the WoL: there is a known issue
with some of the systems using sky2 that *could* have impact on power
consumption. Hence the suggestion. Anyway, good to know your problem
is now sorted out.
