By the way: when using the live cd I wasn't able to log on to the samba
share although I could see it.
For me, kubuntu is totally useless without smb support with open office,
since I store all my important data on a embedded raid server.

Switching the workspace with alt-ctrl-left/right switches to the

i have this bug and do not have a intel i810 graphic card.
i have an ati radeon mobility x1400.
so this bug affects xorg i think. and not only xserver-xorg-driver-i810

I am using the standard gnome mixer applet, it identifies itself as the
„Lautstärkeregler 2.18.0“ (volume control 2.18.0).
My the level of my microphone was set to 0 and I was able to adjust it
with alsamixer.
