I also have a 410s. On 10.04, I notice the suspend-then-immediately-
resume bug, but I can't reproduce it every time. Last time it occured, I
did notice this in my syslog:

The version of gitg packaged for wily depends on libgit2-glib 0.22.x,
but the version in the gnome3-staging PPA is 0.23, which has an API
break. Either the PPA needs to downgrade (or remove) its
libgit2-glib-1.0-0 package or provide a version of gitg compatible with
the version of libgit2-glib it
The test case from JDK-8058742 also exhibits the problem with current

behaviour per the description again. Likewise, disabling the XHCI in
/proc/acpi/wakeup remains a usable workaround.

(v4.3-rc6-unstable) and couldn't, then went back to the current wily
kernel (4.2.0-16-generic) and still can't reproduce it.
So now I am wondering if the updated firmware for the BCM43602 wifi card
in linux-firmware 1.149
Just to confirm, using kernel 4.2.0-16-generic, downgrading linux-
firmware to 1.148 caused the problem to reappear then upgrading it back
to 1.149 caused the problem to go away again.
So it seems this issue was caused by the Broadcom's firmware, rather
than the kernel.

Hmm, no it hasn't. I think there is either a controller or device
initialisation problem, and it might be a race. On power-on, one of two
different things will happen after the Mac startup chime:
1. Usually, there will be along pause (30sec? 1min?), some random display
corruption, then boot
It hasn't worked on the MBP 12,1 on any of the 4.x kernels, and I'm
pretty sure it didn't work on 3.x either.
The same adaptor was working with an older (pre-Thunderbolt) MBP, but
not this model.

As I mentioned, it works fine for apps run via Flatpak on the same
computer, so this very much sounds like an Ubuntu/Debian specific issue.

The last two logs are for my user session using modesetting driver and
with the video group and accel config removed. The first with the
session started via lightdm, the second started using gdm3.
