One of our client upgraded his system ( full intel from clevo ) from
16.04 to 18.04.
After that he cannot login from GDM (tried ubuntu/Unity/gnome-flashback)
However he can login from VT1 .
No "password incorrect" error is returned just looping back to gdm

Yes we need some kind of API key that would be given to apport-collect
to be authenticated to launchpad automatically without any browser

Manual whitelisting from the snap team will always be a blocker for such
a widely adopted use of an important browser.
That will push people to use chrome which IMO a failure on the libre
