Hi, Thank you all for your reply's. I didn't have time to test the upstream kernel, but I did try what Ben suggested: update the bios. I don't know how I haven't noticed this before when searching for a solution to the fan-issue. I updated the bios to the 1.43 version and as a positive surprise
