popup box telling me Sound server fatal error: cpu overload, aborting.
Arts now isn't running, after while atrs starts again freezes computer
and disappers. Sound is partially

Ok - I've done:
echo options snd-via82xx dxs_support=2 |sudo tee -a
/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base
and now all seems to work good. No more cpu overload and sound working in all
apllications.

I can confirm this bug in Kubuntu Edgy Eft.
After upgrade from Dapper (UDF works well) to Edgy my DVD can't read UDF dvd's.
So the bug also affect new kernel. I can burn UDF dvd's and they are readable
in other OS'es (Win XP) but nod readable under Edgy. DVD burn in ISO are
mounted and read
specified to my
language (polish) so label was a strange name. I just remove this line
and everything is now OK.

menu. However alsa and other 'tools' are reporting that audio device is

I tried to use Phoronix Test Suite benchmarks, but I have a such error
related to ibus:

I've got the same problem on 10.04. I chose not deleting this and after logging
in I have empty desktop, no icons, no panels.

I removed ibus-qt and installed ibus, but it seems it didn't help. I
restarted system, ran ibus-setup and had to start daemon manually. There
are no more errors like before, but the Phoronix Test Suit still doesn't
count the benchmark numbers.

I would like to report that the latest kernel (utopic) 3.16.0-45-generic
works well with elantech 0501 touch pad used in the Packard Bell EN
TF71BM.
3.16.0-33-genericand earlier 3.16.xx had problems with multitouch and
right click

In the bios there are two setting for touch pad: advanced and basic
Now (3.16.00-45) touchpad works well in advanced mode but when I set
basic mode in bios system hangs at start.
In the other hand there is huge progress because I can work in advanced
mode

I would like to report that kernel 3.16.00-45 (utopic) has resolved problem
with Elantech 0501 touch pad used in the Packard Bell ENTF71BM laptop. In the
bios there are 2 settings: advanced and basic.
At the moment in advanced mode touch pad works perfectly but I see that
in basic mode (set
9c60 controller has still some problems

To manage notifications about
At the moment I use clean Debian Jessie (stable) on Intel Bay Trail platform
(N2830)
without any problem. Everything is okay.
I had to switch in the BIOS touchpad into basic mode. There is no problems with
xhci and 9C60
My current kernel is Debian 3.16.7-ckt11-1+deb8u3 (2015-08-04) x86_64
I shall try to do pointed est probably tomorrow. My laptop returns from
service at the moment.
