Sorry for not seeing this sooner. I have a xenial machine with the latest stable HWE kernel. Whenever there is a kernel upgrade, DKMS builds for the old kernel version. After each update I have to manually run "sudo dpkg-reconfigure bbswitch-dkms" Maybe I will take a look at how you fixed it in
