Sure? Note that Nautilus does not hang at thumbnailing this file (did
you test this?). I have other svg-files that trigger the Nautilus-
problem, but none of them has embedded tif files, they link to tif

Ok. I just spent the time to minimize. eog hangs when there is a tif
image linked from svg, it is irrelevant whether the file is linked
relatively or with absolute paths. Attached an Inkscape generated
example svg that contains nothing but a single tif image. Unpack the
file into any directory
I confirm this bug on an up-to-date Lucid Lynx amd64. Nautilus, and so
the whole Desktop, hangs on trying to thumbnail some SVG files (that
contain broken links to images). Until this may be fixed, does anybody
know how to selectively switch off thumbnail generation for SVG (all the
rest works fi
