Public bug reported:
Ubuntu 7.10 beta dosent get past the login screen on my inspiron 1501,
every other build of gutsy wont load either, though feisty boots fine.
Im not sure if this is the same bug as with tribe 5, im still new to
linux but i was hoping some of the smart people on here can
thanx racoon i was going to try that next but i just realized that the
ubuntu live cd boots in safe graphics mode.
i still consider this a bug but its not as bad as i originally thought ,
i almost had a heart attack when i thought i wouldnt be able to install
gutsy after using feisty for so long
I can confirm this bug on my inspiron 1501, the hd light goes on way too
much compared to xp. Its a shame this isnt considered important. I guess
