This has been giving me problems for several weeks and I was beginning
to despair of gettign a solution (meaning I would have to give in to my
peers and install RHEL)
Using a Bluecoat proxy at work I tried the suggestions to run the following
commands with no success:-
sudo apt-get update -o
unsubscribe
--
package hotkey-setup 0.1-23ubuntu10 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess
post-installation script returned error exit status 2

Ubuntu was being installed on second drive (1st drive has existing Win7 install)
Machine does not have wireless and LAN is Realtek RTL8111
No broadcom devices present in machine (desktop)
