Binary package hint: nautilus-cd-burner
If there are non-Windows compatible files while burning a large amount
of files to a DVD (or CD) the cd-burner gives a message saying that
some of the files are not Windows compatible.
While this is very nice there's no way to list
I use the newest version 6.06 LTS (fresh install although old home
directory).
I think once using the iso-image tool on terminal it reported files
being non-compliant when the encodings of the file names themselves
where somehow not nice (ie. including some bad characters). The initial

I open a video file and then the screen turns black. The machine stops
responding to keyboard. The only option is to reboot the whole machine.
I use intel driver (the new expiremental that came with gutsy) for my
i855 integrated video card.
I confirm this behavior. It seems to me that the weather is never shown
after a boot.

There exits a module music format (tracker music) MO3. If I remember
correctly, it is IT (Impulse Tracker) files with mp3 or ogg compression
for the samples. Rhythmbox loads them but plays only the samples
consequently very slowly. Either there should be proper mo3 support or
I use totem-xine and it doesn't play the file, no plugin found to play
that kind of file.
As far as I understand, the format is designed by

I will be testing with totem-gstreamer for some time. The crash occurs
only occasionally when opening a file so I can't guarantee any results.

Removing dleyna (whatever it is) and killing the process gets rid of
this problem.
sudo aptitude remove dleyna-renderer dleyna-server
sudo kill -9 {dleyna pid}
There porbably is a more correct way to fix this problem.

All the new 4.8.0 kernels eventually go berzerk with kswapd0, just today
the newest 4.8.0-32-generic. Normal usage, just a couple of terminals,
