It appears that the Mono version included in Bionic Beaver is `4.6.2.7
+dfsg-1ubuntu1`. This is a fairly outdated version considering that Mono
5.0 stable was released about a year ago. Many new Mono programs require
a Mono version that is 5.x. For example, Godot states that
