I've got the same bug on Feisty Fawn 7.04 testing (Linux 2.6.20-14-generic #2
SMP). F-Spot Version 0.3.5.0
The application doesn't crash. It seems to go into a infinite loop. Then the
process takes up to 80% CPU usage in the background and doesn't stop until I do
"sudo killall f-spot" in the co

notifier get un-useful when using it for quick, multiple notifications.

I think minimizing to the notification area is much better for programs you run
all the time (fe IM, e-mail, music) because it makes them easily accessible
from any desktop (if you use more than one) and the program is completely out
of your way, which is much nicer than having it minimized on o

I have the same problem, tested with several external drives (including
Western Digital external hard drive with a Reiser FS partition, NTFS
partition, FAT32 partition and a Corsair Flash Voyager with a FAT32
partition) and occurred in Ubuntu 7.10, 7.04 and 6.10 (all versions I
ever used)

When running Brasero to burn a DVD, I get the eject error as described by
walterav and even though Brasero says burning has completed 100% the DVD is not
readable, it doesn't even show up at all when inserted (on the same machine,
not tested on others).
