I rebooted in the -15 kernel and saved a copy of /var/log/udev to my

Both the ICH5 on my laptop as the ICH6 on my desktop are working perfectly.

Displayed Cpu usage values are over 1100% regularly, which, I persume, are

I have some news and confirmation, no worries
it is indeed only the wput buildi installed wput_0.6.2-2+b1_amd64.deb
from the Debian unstable (SID) branch just to test,
it installed without problem and seems to work accordingly

instance, mc)
deactivate Enable menu shortcut key
now try to exit from mc via F10 (won't work.. menu shortcut is still enabled)

This is how I can reproduce it (and also why it not happens most of the

It always happens when I start one gedit instance from nautilus and
another gedit instance from a gnome-terminal window
It doesn't happen when both are started from the gnome-terminal

gnusound package from natty repository (gnusound 0.7.5-3ubuntu2) works
in oneiric (11.10)
My thanks to anyone at this project...this is a good and workable
intermediate solution until gnusound is back in the oneiric repos

Switched over to Ubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid), pathological crashes now in a totally
different way:
see bug # 269155
The version of pathological is the same however. What changed is the version of
pulseaudio.
This could be a pulseaudio bug.
