that the epson stuff gets integrated better.

I found I am able to get the scanner detected and produce scans if I run
simple-scan as sudo. Am attaching simple-scan debug output from working
attempt as simple-scan2.log.

OK I checked permissions for my basic admin acct and made sure I added
privileges for sane. In addition, I added the scanner name and id
settings to the sane rules file following the instructions here:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SettingScannerPermissions
Apparently this may not be a bug
