** Description changed: Hello, the menu bar should not disappear during login. Also the Luncher icons could preserve. It would look better and it could be possible to switch on/of the WiFi network for example. Why the network should be - configurable befor or after login and not continuously during the login? + configurable before or after login and not continuously during the + login? This is an interesting idea, but very difficult in practice because the Unity Greeter (the login screen) is a completely different process than the Unity Shell you are (or may be) logging in to. Under the Unity 7 / Xorg regime, they are not even run on the same display server.
