This bug still exists on 3.17.1-031701-generic #201410150735 As a workaround you can unbind and bind the xhci drivers - http://www.geekdevs.com/2010/04/solved-unable-to-enumerate-usb-device- disabling-ehci_hcd/. Instead of ehci_hcd, I used xhci_hcd and USB started working again. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1348007 Title: xhci_hcd: Setup ERROR: setup context command for slot n. [Bug 1348007] Re: xhci_hcd: Setup ERROR: setup context command for slot n.
This issue appears to be an upstream bug, since you tested the latest upstream kernel. Would it be possible for you to open an upstream bug report[0]? That will allow the upstream Developers to examine the issue, and may provide a quicker resolution to the bug. Please follow the instructions on the wiki page[0]. The first step is to email the appropriate mailing list. If no response is received, then a bug may be opened on bugzilla.kernel.org. Once this bug is reported upstream, please add the tag: 'kernel-bug- reported-upstream'.
