[Bug 1353599] Re: Duplex support for HP Printers/Scanners
** Description changed: - Simple Scan is not able to scan double sided with a duplex unit on a HP - Printer installed. Simple Scan only scans the front side of the paper in - the ADF. hplip's "hp-scan" is able to provide that function. I am - working on openSUSE 13.1 with hplip 3.14.6-1.2 and simple-scan 3.13.4.2. - Printer is a HP OfficeJet Pro 8620. + [Impact] + Duplex scanning does not work some HP scanners. + + [Test Case] + 1. Set Scan Side to "Front and Back" in preferences + 2. Connect affected HP scanner. + 3. Scan two sided document + + Expected result: + Both sides scanned + + Observed result: + Only single side scanned + + [Regression Potential] + Low. Fix has been in newer versions without issue. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1353599 Title: Duplex support for HP Printers/Scanners To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/simple-scan/+bug/1353599/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
