Is it possible this bug was fixed with the newer releases of Lubuntu?

Upgrading to a currently supported version of Lubuntu may fix this bug.

Lubuntu and see if you can recreate this issue.
I've tried testing the second half on the development release, vivid, but
was unable to, given the information you've provided. I'm unclear on the
issue. Please upgrade to Utopic and re-test. If the bug is still
reproducible, increase the verbosity of the steps to recreate it so we can
try again. Provide at least:
1. What behavior you would expect when running lxsession-default
file_manager
2. What behavior you actually encounter (caused by the line being what it
is)
Do feel free to report any other bugs you may find.

Bug description:
In lubuntu 13.10 there is a typo bug in package lxsession
0.4.9.2-0ubuntu6 in file /usr/bin/lxsession-default where there is no
space before the closing bracket ']' on a few lines. Also, line 53
should be [ $1 = screenshot ] [ $2 = window ]. The problem
can be observed by running lxsession-default file_manager.
