Is there anything happening in this direction in the backlogs? I recall having read in some other bug that Skeyer [1] is meant to be integrated (or even in the process of being integrated) into Ubuntu Touch. Doing a search on Skeyer again I only find Michael Sheldon's user profile [2] who has a PPA for a Skeyer prototype. For my part, I would also like to swipe on the keyboard in order to move the cursor to the left or to the right when the "swipe to type" feature is de-activated.
