This bug is still present in Lubuntu 17.10. Can't work the volume or the WiFi with the mouse. Another workaround is to use the keyboard. Click on the desired icon on the taskbar, and leave the mouse pointer over the taskbar. Use the arrow keys, starting with up arrow, to navigate the volume or

A better work around is to click on the panel network icon and not move the mouse, use the keyboard arrows to highlight the item you want to select then press enter. This way you do not have to disable autohide each time. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu
