Hey Dave, You'd probably need to escape the parens and the space in that search command, i.e. '(no subject)'. You're right though, the two numbers in the attachment path will help out. The first number (166) is the message's ID in geary's database, so you can search for it in there. First, make

I attempted to use apt-file to determine if there were any other messages without a subject, and had the following returned: $apt-file search (no subject) bash: syntax error near unexpected token `(' Is Geary properly escaping special characters in the subject line? Hope this helps out! Dave.

Hi Mike, I am unsure how I am able to determine which email is causing the crash... the .eml file in question has 0 bytes, and the only mapping I can determine on the Geary side is via the path to the file: ~/.local/sharegeary/attachments/166/65/ - do the 166/65 map to anything on the
