Public bug reported: REQUIREMENTS: Hardware with broadcom wifi
STEPS: 1. Download the latest cd iso 2. During the install select install 3rd party drivers 3. This should trigger the installation of bcmwl-kernel-sources EXPECTED: I expect the install to install the wifi drivers like it was last week ACTUAL: It doesn't install the wifi driver, however when running ubuntu-drivers from the terminal it lists both bcmwl-kernel-sources and intel-microcode but neither are installed on the installed desktop. ** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1626108 Title: Ubiquity session isn't setting up 3rd party hardware drivers To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1626108/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
