HI ,

My OS is : 
root@ubuntu:~# lsb_release -a 
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description:Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS
Release:16.04
Codename:   xenial
root@ubuntu:~# 

I see the same errors  on MAAS events /logs .

Node post-installation failure - 'cloudinit' running modules for final  Fri, 16 
Feb. 2018 04:29:57

How can I check if  the cloud-init fix ?

Accepted cloud-init into xenial-proposed. The package will build now and
be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cloud-
init/0.7.8-1-g3705bb5-0ubuntu1~16.04.3 in a few hours, and then in the
-proposed repository.

Please help us by testing this new package.  See
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to
enable and use -proposed.  Your feedback will aid us getting this update
out to other Ubuntu users.
