I have a similiar problem with ii thunderbird 2.0.0.17+nobinonly-0ubu mail/news client with RSS and integrated spam filter support I performed several test and found out that ONLY Thunderbird (I tried two other IMAP clients, evolution and Squirrelmail) doewnloads the attachment only
