Public bug reported:

Hello Canonical.

We request to upgrade kimchi and ginger to latest upstream version
2.3.1.

Unfortunately we will not be able to push kimchi in Debian in time for
17.04, so, we are asking you to include Kimchi on Ubuntu, and we will
have kimchi into Debian by the 17.10 time frame.

Two new packages were split up from kimchi and ginger and are required
as a dependency now: wok 2.3.1 and ginger-base 2.2.2.

All packages are available on mentors:

dget -x https://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/w/wok/wok_2.3.1-1.dsc
dget -x
https://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/g/ginger-base/ginger-base_2.2.2-1.dsc
dget -x https://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/g/ginger/ginger_2.3.1-1.dsc
dget -x https://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/k/kimchi/kimchi_2.3.1-1.dsc

Thanks,
