[Bug 1716255] Re: nautilus crash opening directory with a spefic svg

2018-03-02 Thread Sebastien Bacher
the issue seems to be fixed in current version, it segfault in 16.04 but
not using the 17.10 librsvg. The fix could be a candidate maybe for a
stable update to xenial, in which case the bug can be nominated for the
corresponding serie

[Bug 1716255] Re: nautilus crash opening directory with a spefic svg

2017-11-29 Thread Peter Pan
hi again,

sorry, I don't know much about reporting bugs (its my first bug-report), but I
think, what has to be done, is creating a new-version-package of librsvg for
ubuntu 16.04.
where do I have to ask for this?
I'm not shure, but as Nautilus says "Gleitkomma Ausnahme" (floating point
exception?) I think, this could also be a security issue...?

at bugzilla.gnome they say, the bug is already fixed in a newer
librsvg-version. but there is no newer librsvg-package for ubuntu 16.04...
is this a "ubuntu 16.04-bug"?

2017-10-31 Thread Sebastien Bacher
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. The issue you are reporting is an upstream one and it
would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug to the developers
of the software by following the instructions at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME. If you have done so, please
tell us the number of the upstream bug (or the link), so we can add a
bugwatch that will inform us about its status. Thanks in advance.
