[Bug 1747993] Re: XDG_DATA_DIRS not set to allow access to software from Applications list
Xession.d has never been a solution for wayland sessions, if you still have that file it's a conffile leftover, the profile.d include should work though -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1747993 Title: XDG_DATA_DIRS not set to allow access to software from Applications list To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/snapd/+bug/1747993/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1747993] Re: XDG_DATA_DIRS not set to allow access to software from Applications list
This seems to only be an issue with wayland on bionic. It works fine in the xorg session. I noticed snapd on 17.10 includes scripts to set XDG_DATA_DIRS in both profile.d and Xsession.d however on bionic the Xsession.d script has been removed. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1747993 Title: XDG_DATA_DIRS not set to allow access to software from Applications list To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/snapd/+bug/1747993/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
