Public bug reported: Flatpak 0.10.x is a stable branch and I am currently tracking it in Debian. I had intended to move to the 0.11.x development branch, but only after Ubuntu 18.04 LTS freezes, on the assumption that you would want to use a stable branch in your LTS release. With the latest versions in unstable, flatpak >= 0.10.4 can be used with xdg-desktop- portal >= 0.10 (and 0.11.x is also available from Debian, but only in experimental).
However, bionic has now skipped ahead to flatpak 0.11.1, possibly from a mistaken belief that this was necessary to be able to pick up xdg- desktop-portal 0.10. This seems an odd thing to do right before an LTS release, and it isn't what I'd have done; but if that's what you want, go ahead. I spoke to seb128 on IRC, and he wondered whether rolling back to 0.10.4 would be a better thing to do. Please decide whether bionic will ship with 0.10.x or with 0.11.x and tell flatpak AT packages DOT debian DOT org your decision. If 0.10.x, I'll continue to upload those versions to Debian until bionic freezes, and only diverge after your freeze date. If 0.11.x, I'll land the experimental version into unstable sooner. ** Affects: flatpak (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1750382 Title: please roll back to 0.10.x stable branch or confirm use of 0.11.x for bionic To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/flatpak/+bug/1750382/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
