Thanks Iron-man for continuing on this issue and fixing it via resetting your daemon config. >From the log: /var/lib/dpkg/info/clamav-freshclam.config: 137: export: http://database.clamav.net: bad variable name I haven't seen this issue anywhere else yet, if it was a custom config fine. So for now this bug is incomplete (in the sense that we can't fix anything in the package itself to avoid it). I managed to fix the problem by opening the Synaptic Package Manager, then selecting all installed ClamAV and ClamTK packages, for complete deletion, including configuration files and installation logs, in addition to all the suggested packages. Once that was done, I did a fresh installation of ClamTK and all the recommended and suggested packages.
