what happens:

  ImportError: libnetcdf.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such
file or directory

expected outcome:

  imports netcdf functionality

steps to reproduce:

  install python
  install python-netcdf4 (installs libnetcdf11)
  in Python call import netCDF4
