After the last kernel update (4.15.0-29-lowlatency #31~16.04), I
encountered this error. To resolve it, I needed to `apt-get update &&
apt-get dist-upgrade` *and* it was necessary to disable UEFI secure boot
or the vboxdrv module would not launch.

terminal seems to have fixed it, or, there were no errors I noticed in
the output, anyway.
