tweaks does not fully fixes the problem. In 16.04 I've had (and I've used) both functionalities: two-fingers tap and right bottom touchpad area click. Now if I enable area click in tweaks, the two-fingers tap stops working or vise-versa. This is regression bug introduced in 18.04. Same problem as @eyallior and @fxedel: physical right button of touchpad doesn't work. In my case tapping right corner doesn't work neither. My laptop: Toshiba Satellite P50-B-11L. Upgraded from 16.04 Touchpad buttons are place under the touchpad itself. I've tried gnome tweaks solution and @pemasu link, which I believe it does the same as tweaks, and none of them worked. Still a bug somewhere, not just config set up. Any clue? I am only suggesting this because of my setup. Try uninstalling Synaptics, install libinput instead and reboot. Then try Select Area in Tweaks again.
