it's been proposed, but then i simply added Provides: old-name in the btrfs package. basically it was easier to do that than to add support in curtin to sense which release it is, which release it is deploying (the two sometimes do not match) and thus install the right name. -- You received

It is unclear why the curtin (Ubuntu) task was marked 'fix committed' over a year ago, but in practice curtin in eoan still has a dependency on btrfs-tools, which ceased to be a real package in cosmic and in eoan- proposed has been dropped as a provides: of btrfs-progs. So this is now blocking
