My OS have this bug, i try to install kernel 5.4 in my linuxmint19.3,
bug, instailing not found samething with from /lib/firmware/i915/ ,again.
i try to download from 
https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/firmware/linux-firmware.git/tree/.
I download 5 .bin file and move to /lib/firmware/i915/.
after reinstall  kernel 5.3 again, bug is fix!!!
