> Too late to fix for Questing SRU would still be possible, and whilst no 25.10 ISO/media will be produced (thus uninstalled systems will always have it), an SRU fix would mean existing 25.10 installs that currently report themselves as 25.04 on booting (ie. during plymouth) would correctly report their OS as 25.10. This is because of plymouth-theme-lubuntu-text provided by the source package lubuntu-artwork. There is a file src/usr/share/plymouth/themes/lubuntu-text/lubuntu- text.plymouth that sets the title to Lubuntu 25.04. Most of the Ubuntu flavor plymouth text packages use a postinst script to set the version number instead.
