I am sorry for late reply..
I am now creating a MS Excel 2003 in Windows XP, that has similar problem in
the real file.
If I open this file using open office spreadsheet 2.4.1 in Ubuntu 8.04, the
line connecting data cannot be seen. It is invisible. I tried to other options
did not show the
