I'm running jaunty with ipw2100 on a samsung P35 and the bug is still present. Wlan is working but only if my router is set to 802.11b and I'm excluding notebooks with faster wlan devices. When I set the router to mixed mode (802.11b/g) the intel wireless card 2100 cannot connect to the wlan.

I can confirm, that this problem occurs on the same machine as reported above (Samsung X11) using OpenSuse 10.2. Also the Fabio-workaround works there. So this is really an ipw2100 problem, rather than an ubuntu problem. -- ipw2100 - Fatal interrupt. Scheduling firmware restart.

As Brian and Enrico have pointed out, this is a known issue upstream. However, it seems the upstream bugzilla report has not had a comment since almost 2 yrs ago. It would be helpful if someone still experiencing this issue would post that this is still an issue to the upstream bug report. It
