[Bug 268622] Re: cat /sys/class/net/eth0/statistics/tx_bytes always 0
After researching your problem, it appears that the driver you are using is from 2.6.28 which is too recent for inclusion in intrepid. There is a bug as you describe in the early versions of that driver. Please clarify where the driver came from so we can proceed with a solution. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Assignee: Ubuntu Kernel Team (ubuntu-kernel-team) = Jim Lieb (lieb) Status: Triaged = In Progress -- cat /sys/class/net/eth0/statistics/tx_bytes always 0 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/268622 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Hi froverio, Care to do a quick test. The latest Alpha5 for the upcoming Intrepid Ibex was just released. I'd like to know if this will still be an issue with the upcoming release. It has an updated 2.6.27 kernel. You should be able to test using a LiveCD - http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/intrepid/alpha5 . Please let us know your results.
