No i don't have that exact model of CD-RW but i've tried to burn iso images with brasero and it works fine, did you stopped the operation by hand? could perform the operation to get the bad behavior and get a log of that? because there's no indication of an error there in the log. Brasero stopped burning and gave some error message dialog in both versions. See line (brasero:12419): BraseroBurn-DEBUG: At burn.c:797: the media is not supported in the first log.
