I'm trying to make it work on my ThinkPad T42 laptop on a new install of Ubuntu 9.04. Has a fix or workaround been found since last post? Setting the bluetooth adapter to always visible does not fix the problem for me. Agree this is very annoying. I have the same device ID in my Thinkpad T500.
