This is set as Fix Released but it just happened to me upgrading a machine from Hardy to Karmic. I'm not sure if the fix regressed or if that large a change missed some packages in the middle. But I beleive LTS to any release is supported. Preparing to replace qemu 0.9.1-5ubuntu3 (using .../qemu_0.10.5-1ubuntu1_i386.deb) ...
