[Bug 406738] Re: can't unmount iphone without root privs
I am seeing this, along with 3 iphone folders being created, one mounted, and none deleted (when plugged in once). when I run sudo umount mount.fuse.ifuse it will delete unmount it, and delete one of the iphone folders. If i run it multiple times, it deletes another iphone folder. Also, most of the time, the phone will reboot when first plugged in. Always reboots when on Springboard, sometimes does not when on the lockscreen, or when display is sleeping. Nothing unusual in dmesg other than multiple mounts. ** Changed in: ifuse (Ubuntu) Status: New = Confirmed -- can't unmount iphone without root privs https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/406738 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 406738] Re: can't unmount iphone without root privs
Here is the strace output while connected with the phone on the lockscreen. I was able to access the filesystem when this strace was generated. Dont see anything that sticks out at me, hopefully someone with more experience with fuser will notice something in there. i ran strace mount.fuse.ifuse device file mountpoint to generate this. Not sure if i should of done them individually, so let me know. ** Attachment added: strace mount.fuse.ifuse device file mountpoint http://launchpadlibrarian.net/32586632/strace_mount.fuse.ifuse-device-file-mountpoint -- can't unmount iphone without root privs https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/406738 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I'm seeing the same thing using ifuse 0.9.2-1ubuntu1 (also from the jonabeck PPA on Jaunty). -- can't unmount iphone without root privs https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/406738 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
