The problem is User Interface related as in extremely irritating Design choices so apport-collect is not going to give you the right information. I've grabbed the latest Ubuntu 18.04LTS Beta and created some screenshots to better describe the issue. What it comes down to the Install dialog box is locked to one size. When making 8 or 9 partitions on the drive this is a major irritation. Every dialog needs to be resizeable everywhere always. It needs to be the users choice, as screen resolution and size varies largely across platforms.
