[Bug 486383] Re: Nautilus allows copy +4gb file on fat32 filesystem
Can someone still reproduce this on Ubuntu 17.10 or 18.04? If so then it might be worth filing an upstream bug here: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/nautilus/issues You can link back to here from the bug you file there and link to the issue you file there, here. [Bug 486383] Re: Nautilus allows copy +4gb file on fat32 filesystem
Reported this 4 years ago and is still an issue. Today I tried to copy a 4.6 GB iso file onto a pendrive, after 15 minutes of file transfer it failed miserably raising an error that could have been predicted earlier ** Summary changed: - Copying +4gbs file on fat32 should be advised earlyer + Nautilus allows copy +4gb file on fat32 filesystem -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/486383 Title: Nautilus allows copy +4gb file on fat32 filesystem To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/486383/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
