seems that there is a problem with your installation media (CD/DVD) or
with your hardware. Please retry your installation with new media and

btw, this problem doesn't happen with Lucid Final, even if I upgrade
Ubiquity from it.

Ok, my mistake for not being clear here.
Lucid Final didn't have the error.
Lucid dailyiso downloaded yesterday (ie AFTER Lucid final) did.
This is an error introduced since Lucid Final, not an error fixed by it.
