I agree that since this issue has been specifically rejected upstream,
it should require an approved feature spec before splitting the code
base from upstream.

upstream will not revert to previous behavior: use F3 -it has
discussion arguments, so no need to discuss here I suppose.

Hello,

i just install Ubuntu Edgy (6.10) to test it. And one of the first
failures i saw was that there a no buttons at Quick Find (Edit »
Preferences » Advanced » General » Search for text when i typing) in
firefox. Hope this is a bug and not intention.
